If the new contract had the $35 per hour promised, the 100% employer paid health insurance and a Teamster Pension, they wouldn't be so secretive.

Just based upon the poor showing at the CVG picket line, 3,000 workers crossing that line everyday.

And, then the sudden end to the "so called" strike, it stands to reason that DHL won this round and that Local 100 and the IBT accepted less, just to back out of the strike.

"Only members that have filled out applications may attend and vote", I'm not sure that is legal at this point in the process.

Everyone of the 1,100 ramp and tug employees are affected by this proposed contract. But, leveraging access to the contract by requiring them the join the union, may be illegal under the Kentucky Right to Work Law and, under the NLRA.

The DHL CVG contract passed, but local 100 is still playing word games with this latest press release.

No where in this release did Local 100 say how many of the 1100 workers voted or joined the union. You can bet, if it were a high number, they'd brag about it in this press release.

Also, still local 100 is not posting wages, benefits, etc. The union had no problem promising these tamp and tug workers, they'd match the driver wages and benefits at the erlanger delivery center in the organizing campaign flyers.

But, now they won't post the hourly wages or if the company will be paying for worker benefits and pensions.

Again, if the wages matched the promised $35 per hour, the union would brag about it.

And, if the company was paying 100% of insurance premiums for everyone of the 1100 workers, Local 100 would brag about that too.

Instead, now changing their storyline, claiming that it's not just about wages and benefits... it's about respect.

Hgher wages and great benefits paid by the employer has always been "the" indication of respect.
