Wonder why it isn't part of the master DHL agreement? What are the details? Union pension, H&W, etc? What did the extensions get? We all knew whatever it is, it would be a "Gigantic win" but where are the details? Has it been ratified by all those who crossed the picket line and worked, while (some)Teamsters across the country lost wages and benefits respecting the extensions? Would be nice to have a little transparency...

It doesn't appear to be part of the master only a small number at CVG will actually vote on it. Every Teamster who honored the line so CVG could get a union contract deserves to see the settlement. With this secretive international union its doubtful they will.

Whether this is a "win" or not remains to be seen but this settlement happened because real dues paying Teamsters around the country did what real Teamsters do , they honored a picket line.

I don't know what the settlement is but I think its very strange that we haven't seen statements from Fred or Sean on this. They're usually so quick to take credit and have a photo op. Word will come out eventually.

Whoever he is he is a big wig with the Teamsters and has been a part of the hoffa and obrian administration.

I observed the picket line at CVG during the so called 12 day strike. I never saw more than 26 people on the line at CVG.

On a facebook page one of the DHL workers bragged that the 2nd and 3rd shift workers would stand on the picket line during the day, then go to work and the 1st shift workers manned the picket line at night ( while working their 1st shift jobs).

Local 100 had these guys picketing and crossing their own picket line??? What the heck???

That is until they announced that they had an agreement. At that point, the local union officials and their buddies joined the picket line to create the appearance of a real picket line.

With more than 3,000 workers in the hub, a picket line with 25 picketers is a failure.

when they finally disclose the terms of the agreement we can compare those to the flyers yhe IBT and Local 100 passed out during the organizing drive.

If the union did not deliver $35 per hour, free health insurance and a strong pension, not many of the 1,100 ramp and tug workers will join. (KY is a RTW state.)

And, organizing the rest of the 3 000 DHL workers or the 5,000 Amazon workers at the Amaxin Air hub across the street, will be tough.

First rUke of organizing new workers, NEVER PROMISE TOO MUCH. They will never trust you after you can't deliver as promised.

That wasn't a strike then. People honored their extended picket lines and they double dipped?

It wasn't a strike by the majority of the Cincinnati newly organized workers. It was a picket line set up to extend to other areas, to bring pressure on the company. Other card carrying Teamsters respected the extensions, did the right thing, and ultimately their master contract wasn't protected. Whether the workers join or not, the oz group will add the total number of workers to their tally sheets and PR bs! The incompetence and untruthfulness is hard to watch. But say Fuck enough times and wind up in DC...
