If this is true he's doing the same thing he did at UPS, freezing the pension contributions. Pensions have never been that important to SOB.

All smoke, BS, and mirrors! Same pattern as was used for UPS. Yell, scream, stomp feet, practice picket to show the members how tough the union is. No relationship with the company, no understanding of the business, no real understanding of Costco members, and frankly no guts by the locals to tell the ibt they are fucking things up. What will happen with Costco is that after all the bluster and BS, the union will settle short and leave things they could have negotiated for the members, in the table.

Prior to this shitty contract that pays $2.11 in pension, Rome negotiated the shitty agreement.

Under Rome they made $1.75 in pension.

                That's nothing to brag about!

Rome is gone why not concentrate on who is making the decisions now ?

Because Rome always bragged about being the best negotiator. And he wasn't. He was very tight with O'Brien until he went down in flames.

They came from the same old guard nepoteamster school and were equally bad for the membership!

Rome supposed the 2018 UPS contract that gave UPS the 22.4s and RPCDs.

Once again , what does that have to do with now? Rome is not negotiating anything anymore.

Nationwide, more than 18,000 Teamsters at Costco are demanding a new contract and are prepared to strike if Costco does not meet their requests, the union said in a release.

If it goes forward, the strike will be one of the first major labor struggles under the second Trump administration.
