Can you say UPS/ANHAUSER contract campaigns. Refuse to come to an agreement, continue with the BS campaign, tell the members how horrible the negotiations are going and how unfair the company is, refuse to recognize the company's position as providing the highest economic package in the industry, act like the SEIU and practice picketing to make the members feels like it could really happen ( make sure more officials show up, in case members don't), take a phony strike vote , come to an agreement that leaves a lot on the table since the company will never give the untrustworthy negotiators who are misrepresenting the members, everything there is, claim victory, use PR to tell everyone it is a historic contract!. Sound familiar???

This guy, EE has never seen a contract he likes and its been well established he's never negotiated anything in his life. This letter he copies went to the non-union workers it wasn't an offer to the union.

Its going to be interesting to see whats in the package and how it compares to what the non union stores are getting. With a number a campaigns going there was talk of neutrality, what happened to that?

It is good that there is a settlement. There was always going to be a settlement, and most probably never going to be a strike. Anyone with a brain never roots for a strike. The frustrating and disgenuous thing about how oz handles all of the negotiations, is that the same bs pattern occurs. Any idiot can call a strike; skill, experience and knowledge gets good settlements without strikes. For instance, Costco never had a strike, but the members were $7-9hr, total package ahead of anyone in the same industry. They have WCTPTF pension, contributions to 401k plus matching 401k, full Healthcare, and language better than most retail agreements. The joke is that given the same pattern, the company played the negotiators, kept some things and got the deal they gave the non-union, with a union recommendation. Happy the members got a decent deal, sorry for them they had to go through the oz theatrics. Oh wait...it will be the best contract ever, even historical!

Pension and card check neutrality are unknown so far.

One time $0.45 pension front loaded, no cardcheck, always got contract into newly organized units, but put into writing. $1.00 each year to wages, bump to starting progression, bump to lead person differential.
