Kara Deniz, a spokeperson for the IBT said she had not heard from the rank-and-file concerned about the Trump meeting. She goes on to say " It does a disservice to our members to ignore the frontrunner on the Republican side" she said.

So African-Americans, Mexican-Americans,Central-Americans, South Americans, Caribbean Americans Arabic, LGTQ+, women and others that Trump has offended means absolutely shit. He has done more to harm the working class, He seeks to divide the working class by race.

On labor issues, he gutted the NLRB. He supported a national right-to-work legislation. He appointed a union buster to be the Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy. If truly cared about the working why did he not get a legislation passed to bailout the failing pensions. If Trump cared about the conditions of the working why did he not introduce and push to pass a child tax credit, that helped out the working class with child expensives. What is he going to try to give OSHA more funding.

Bravo, my friend crickets from the Trump crowd because there is not one thing he or his ideologues did in support of labor, human rights, or social justice. Whats funnier or sader is how his communications rep attempts the classic cleanup on aisle 6. Thats like your neighbor shooting your dog and you meeting with him to watch the pups. what a joke this guy has turned out to be.

The majority of teamsters identify as republicans. When we ran polls in the prior administration we found out 56% of our members voted or approved of Donald Trump. It got worse when we looked at the freight and UPS members who supported Trump. The was 63%. I realize that a bunch of they/them, blue haired socialists are mad about the mar-a-Lago visit and I understand and am sympathetic. I think it was in poor taste. But this whole left wing Teamsters. We are a few decades away from that ever being a reality. Remember, when people get older, they get more conservative. UPS members who go full time make enough money that they eventually think they are the 1% and become republicans.

Like you said "full-timer make enough money that they eventually think they are the 1% ". They think they are something they are not. That type of attitude creates apathy. As a not blue haired, not a good stereotype, communist, I dead set in expanding that apathy.
Lets look at why a majority of Teamsters vote Republican. To me, when you vote republican you are voting against your interests. One reason is the IBT's tied to the hip to the Democrats. What has Dems done to better the lives of the working class. Who deregulated trucking. Who cheerleader and signed NAFTA. Who supported the Trans Pacific Partnership/TPP. Who backstabbed the railroad workers, intervened in the UPS and Big 3 contracts. Dems

All true but the unfortunate truth is one has a gun, and the other has a knife. Pick your poison or give up. The idea that the system as structured is set up for us to win is a hallucination. I would rather suffer stitches from a cut than a gunshot to the head. We need to survive long enough to fight for the majority of us all, working men and women. Corporate america and the unions that dance with them will kill us all. WAKE UP STAND UP.

Really? How? What did Trump say that was so racist? Did he call blacks ****roaches multiple times? Did he mock Indians that owned 7-11's? Who was the President who didn't want their children growing up in a "racial jungle"? Who claimed to write the '97 crime bill that they knew then and now would target minorities? Who pardoned multiple blacks for minor drug offenses? Trump? Who invited Rosa Parks to their property to give her an award along with Jesse Jackson and Reverend Al?

I for one don't like Trump for his past, BUT calling him a racist for NO reason makes you WHAT? I live in the same area where Biden was seen on the local news. He was and still is the most corrupt racist pig alive in politics and now is playing the blacks. People in the inner cities are waking up.

Love to hear more about this racist man, Donald Trump. Please elaborate....

The one that was a huge advocate of the 1994 crime bill. Yup, he is another POS like Trump. There is no difference between the both. So Trump calling Mexicans "drug dealers, criminals and rapists" is not racist. Calling Haiti and African nations "shitholes" is not racist.

Who are you talking to? I am a 22.5 year full timer and 30 year Teamster. I stood on the curb fighting for my full time job in 97. I also was the first to step outside (ON MY DIME) and give literature fighting the garbage 2013 contract that would have diminished the part timer. I fought the 4 year progression you have now. I fought the 1 year waiting list to get healthcare. I also spoke out against the wages part timers start at.

My name is Dana Costello. Go look it up punk! What's your name?

Why should I give you my name just cuz you called me a punk. I know who you are and I have respect for what you have done.

Whom am I talking about is the full-timers "think they are the 1%" and just look down on part-timers. Those full-timers.

A four year progression is not the answer for full-timers and part-timers. It only benefits UPS. We need to go to four stage one-year progression. As an example: 1st stage: Jan-March 2nd stage: April-June. 3rd stage: July-September. 4th stage: October-Dec.

The main problem with relying on the good work on the direction of the NLRB is that the underfunding of it since 2014 has rendered it totally useless. Besides labor law not having much teeth to begin with.

Traditional Republicans do not like Trump. In Iowa less than 15% of Republicans turned out to vote last week.
