I can only wonder if Amazon has communicated their intention to pull more volume away from UPS after Christmas and if that's why UPS is closing day sorts throughout the midwest.

So far UPS giving operational change notices, announcing day sort closures at Louisville, Indianapolis and Toledo.

I read in an earlier press release that once Amazon CVG reaches full capacity, they will employ about 5,000 in this air hub.

Since 2020, Amazon has open the CVG air hub and four delivery centers in the area.

Since 2018, UPS closed the Sharonville night sort, Sharonville day sort, Cincinnati Gest street night sort and Cincinnati Gest street night sort.

Ohio is not RTW.

Kentucky is RTW.

Indiana is RTW.

Cincinnati is located on the Ohio River near the intersection of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

The Amazon Air Hub, seven of the Amazon warehouses and one of the distribution centers are located in Northern Kentucky, in the area surrounding the airport.

Local 100 is chartered to represent the workers at the airport, but is located about 30 miles away, north of Cincinnati.

In 2002 (?), when the Comair flight attendants were organized, the IBT chartered Local 513 to represent them. When Delta sold Comair, they went our of business and so did Local 513.

It would be smart if the IBT recharter a local at the airport to organize the 1000s of non-union workers there.
