Where is this happening 'around the country'? I've only read of one local. What's the issue there?

Here is a letter sent out on the app last week to everyone but it was pulled back a little bit later in the day.

I am simply baffled by all this. The language is clear in Article 11 1.b. I don't know what the problem is. You can't defer to the supplement language and it is clear that this language out weighs the supplement. They can't and shouldn't drag this on like the Article 52 says. They can't cherry pick the contract. This local union sucks big time. I feel bad for these guys.

This is some real BS. Shifting the responsibility to the Locals, UPS loves it when they can fight us one at a time. Then on top of that they send this BS letter to the drivers blaming the Local.

I am trying to wrap my head around all this. Who signed that "memorandum of agreement"? Whomever did that needs to be thrown out of office immediately. I mean seriously. These locals and the IBT hire these lawyers who are as worthless as two tits on a nun.

I attempted to watch a video today with some drivers from 639. It was called the what the heck show. The host brought up your name and talked smack about you. What is this guys problem?

I call it "tough love". There will be another movement coming against O'BRIEN. Hector will be joining or trying to. It's simply called herd mentality. It's human to talk nice to someone's face then trash them the next minute. I can unequivocally say without a doubt in my mind, I never sold my soul. I have always spoke out against Hoffa and his cohorts. When a man like Hector shows his true colors, we have a responsibility to call him out for the good of the Union. There's too many people who want to kiss his ass cause he has a medium to project his self loathing bull shit.

It reminds me of the sell outs here. There were a handful of members who sold their souls and sat in a secret meeting with Bill Hamilton. This is back when Hamilton was still throwing shade for Hoffa and shoving the contract down our throats. Think about that... You went to the enemy of your enemy just so you can get elected? That's not fighting for the common good.

It's all good. I might reengage and start showing the membership how foolish these procrastinators really are.

His type of approach to social networking brings too much despondency to his local and the Teamsters. I spoke to a couple of feeder drivers from 804 in my building and they say they don't even listen to his crap (their words). It would be ok for me or you to speak in the manner he does because we are only pundits and not the figures of the union. With him being a BA, he doesn't bring too much fervor to the union like a Ron Carey or even a Sandy Pope. He can have his opinion all he wants, I don't value it one bit.
