Oz, or a version or their spawn of govt/tdu/IIO created "leadership" will be at the IBT for many years. There is no opposition, officers are either bought by the administration or completely cowered by it. This generation has no idea how to fight. The Carey/real TDU opposition has been eliminated or retired or died. After more than 20 years of being taken care of by good, strong, competent, and outspoken leadership across the country (I didn't say perfect, I said good, strong, competent and outspoken) this current group of officials can't get out of their own way. They think PR, fake picketing, puffing their chests (or tattooing them) is what it takes to lead.
In order to beat oz, opposition would have to be forming now. But as soon as it starts, if it were even out there, the oz formula of using the IIO as a political weapon will ensue, and wipe it out, as they did previously to clear a path for oz. It is a sad state of affairs as we watch the demise of a once great Union.

Koldiww may be right about where we are today but its overly pessimistic to think it can't change. There are leaders in this union at all levels that recognize smoke and mirrors when they see it. Anything can happen between now and nomination, is a further split of the GEB impossible? Who knows how many more times oz will stumble and how serious it will be?

You just have to shake your head that we put together a collaborative effort to fight these scumbags in 2013 and the collective went on to support OBrien saying things like "We trust Fred". When I went down to DC to ask Suckerman some questions on camera about being a fraud, I watched from a local eatery and saw him confronted about writing letters to Hoffa about being proud to be on his Executive Board all while chanting how much of a tyrant he is.
