Another example of the lack of respect that is undermining the IBT. Cage fights, vulgar chants, PR unionism doesn't help the members. The government's plan is working perfectly. Get people elected who are all informants and rats, fire everyone who is competent, put people in charge who are lacking any experience or credibility and you have the formula for destroying the Teamsters.

Rome was a self-serving nepoteamster just like O'Brien.

I remember the ruckus that broke out in the early 2000s with the SWS liquor contract. Rome was agreeing to get rid of the unlimited pension hours and tap them out at 2080 like the rest of the crafts.

But when Jim Santangelo and Paul Kenny caught wind of it they called out Rome and told him it was a no go for SoCal and that they would out vote NorCal.

Rome who was a master of selling out got put in his place by two SoCal crooks. O'Brien is no different than them.

You can hate Aloise all you want, but that Statewide Liquor agreement was put together by Aloise, in the early 90's, with Jerry Veracruse and Santangelo's blessing. Kenny was no where around. All separate contracts involving 20 locals were brought together at the time, not one concession, full MOB, ALL HOURS ON PENSION still paid, 401k contributions by the employer, high pension contributions. Aloise is destroyed and eviserated, whether you agree with how it was done, using liars, and jealous do nothings, or not, you should at least be accurate with your facts. You make some good points in your posts, but by presenting untruths, you undermine your credibility. Don't let your hatred undermine your dignity! By the way, just to be clear, I always thought he was an arrogant asshole, but the facts are the facts.

Rome called the 22.4s good. His Costco deal was a joke.
