You asked me to check myself, so here you go..... I am going to tell you exactly where I am coming from and how the unions are so wrong in the way they conduct themselves. First off, I hate the Corporatocracy as much as most but to want to destroy the man who feeds your ass is counterproductive. This man (Senator Mullins) pointed out some stats that right to work states are more productive and pay more than the opposite. Is this true? In that regard, unions need a reality check. I have made it known and always will that I am an Anarcho-capitalist with Laisse Faire leanings. I do believe government can and should handle emergency services, highway construction and maintenance, etc. making me a slight minarchist. With that being said, I don't believe in labor laws. These "laws" are more hurtful to unions than anything. If we didn't have them, that would make us lean more heavily on our contracts and defer to contract law rather rules that were set up by politicians. I simply get a chuckle when people think I am not pro-union because I don't prescribe to their rhetoric. Rid ourselves of the National Relations Act and we don't have right to work. Take minimum wages for instance. Why the hell are unions out in force demanding higher minimum wages when it has nothing to do with us and in hindsight what people are doing is petitioning government on behalf of non-union workers. Look at Europe and how much stronger they are than us (United States). They have limited labor laws and have 90-95% union participation Just like "Medicare for all", that people feel compelled to believe we need a country that leans heavily on government subsidies rather demand it from their employer. All these unions who follow Bernie Sanders are fools. He wants to classify and lump unions into this ideology that we are part of "labor" and that would include the non-union electorate. Ask him how he became a millionaire while fighting the likes.

Unions are out of touch with reality and that is why we are failing. Please tell me I am wrong. I would love to hear it.

Exactly my point. O'Brien called out an undefeated MMA fighter. OOOOPPPS. Then he wussed out by saying, "Yeah, for coffee and talk". The only thing I am offering is, "Is Mullin lying when he says he built his business with hard work and perseverance while paying his workers good pay and benefits?" That's my question. Is he a real corporate scumbag like a lot of others that get a pass because they support the Democrat party? Mark Cuban? Same goes with the Republicans. I will never let it down that Trump burned a whole lot of contractors on his way to the top.
