Shawn Fain replaces Sean O'Brien as New Face of Labor

Americans learned over the summer that you really don't have to "Buckle your Chinstrap" if all your going to do is "practice picket". The UAW is a fighting, not a talking, union.

Is that even possible? No dickstepper? Damn I'm throwing my protective cup away, it's safe to hang loose unless you are going to the TDU dickstepping 101 workshop.

No doubt great leader is taking this news with maturity and calm. Hopefully he's not packing heat.

Look out he'll find someone to strike just so he can say he did.

Really, that sounds like a well thought out plan. What could go wrong?

As long as you appear to be angry it's OK, that worked out really well at Yellow also.

If the preliminary information on the Big Three TA with the UAW is accurate its a big win for labor. The members will decide if its a contract. For their sake I hope they don't get the same kind of paid PR crap that Teamster UPS members got.
I'd be interested to know how part-time UPSers feel about the $28 per hour start rate negotiated by the UAW?

I read somewhere that the new starting rate at Ford is $21. Where did you see $28?

This article goes into detail but I've seen it in other articles too.

UAW strike at Ford ends while union leaders, members review deal and prepare for ratification vote.
