    Over Kill?

Was there too much PR and Bluster? Does the deal live up to the rhetoric?

Its an all hands on deck situation at the IBT. Everyone with a social media account is being "asked" to post something glowing about "the best ever" agreement at UPS. If your paid by TDU or IBT you're all over this thing, local guys, who run for office, not so much. Sorry, just not living up to all the expectations and hype.

Why is it so hard for oz to just say" we didn't strike when there was no signed contract by the expiration date( SOB said it all over the country) and we never intended to have a strike. It is a decent agreement with some major screw ups. We took advantage of our know nothing VPs in the West, and we know it will pass because of our very massive and expensive PR campaign to bs the membership" ????

Agreed but what they've done to the WCTPF should be a deal breaker and every Officer in the West knows it. "25cent Davison" is hardly a rookie, he saw an opportunity to do a favor and did so at the expense of every Teamster in the West.

Davidson is a rookie VP and a rookie trustee. But you are correct: they gave the favor that UPS has wanted for 20 years. Where was Griswold, Finn, hicks? All of them sold out because they were told to and as a result, didn't protect the members in the WEST. Plain and simple

They can't say that because they've spent millions of dollars of dues money trying to convince us and the media that O'Brien is "the best ever" and that the UPS agreement is "the best ever". As they say it's all smoke and mirrors, they had all the PR ready in advance, it hardly mattered what was in the agreement.
