A Straight out political move by Oz. "Let Yellow go, as regardless of what we do to save them, the members will blame us" so they let the members drown. Regardless of what you may think about the past Freight directors and the Hoffa administration, they allowed the members to make a choice...put it to death or continue to work and get health benefits, pension, 401k, vacations, etc. While it was a substandard agreement, thousands with seniority stayed and thousands more came to work there. Did the IBT sign a favored nations clause with ABF, which required them to demand the same from Yellow, or did they just let it go so as to not suffer and political backlash. Another pathetic lack of leadership and representation.

Yellow gone as the IBT stands by watching. Members never given an opportunity to make any decisions. How will kicking 22 to 28 thousand teamsters to the curb help us organize in freight or anywhere else? Was there any thought to how doing nothing would affect organizing in general?

The plan to have a big fight and victory at UPS which would lead to organizing Amazon seems to have fizzled. Now the focus is just to get the TA passed ASAP cause this one is getting stale fast. What will be the next plan to grow, because we are headed in the wrong direction.
