Well, if there is anything positive to take away from this Webinar, it's that the members are learning that Sean is way out of his league. He's inarticulate and has trouble reading his talking points.

Sean never worked at UPS and Fred never worked at UPS, they apparently do not know that the consensus of UPS workers is that they do not want a strike. They want the Union to continue to negotiate and sign an extension.

Its the first time O'Brien has indicated that if there is a TA prior to contract expiration we'll work through expiration. That's a big change before it was always a ratified contract before expiration or a strike on August 1.

Listen at about 7:20 in the webinar and save yourself from hearing basically the same thing you've been hearing for months.

I heard some position changes here. A willingness to work beyond expiration, if there's a TA, and a commitment of balloting as its been done in the past with three weeks minimum to review. That to me is significant, now if we can see actual language instead of summaries members will know what their voting for.

These changes are positive but its hard to say these negotiations have been transparent, considering all union side participants had to sign NDA's and members have yet to even see what's been proposed for their own contract. Flooding the media with general statements and summaries is not transparency.

I believe the members vocal displeasure of this process has moved them in this direction, thank you Teamsterlink. The brownout is still concerning, and it's sad to say Hoffa was certainly always open about the voting process. Low bar but c'mon, you can't even reach that bar. The OZholes are niether reformers nor militants.
