I saw this live, I thought it would be information but nothing new. Looked like a hundred business men in suits on saturday. Should have had a hundred teamster part-timers and drivers. O'Brien gives a good speech but enough already.

I'm sick and tired of his lisp!

Where was CNN, MSNBC and Fox News?

They understand the fix is in. No longer news worthy?

At the end of his speech, O'Brien asked if there were any questions; there was just one (which we couldn't hear). As the camera panned over to the two or three members of the press, it was obvious that the IBT had not done any outreach, or, if they had, there was no interest in the strike. If you're going to hold a press conference to garner support for a possible strike that will impact an entire industry and all the customers around the world they service, you might want to do a little outreach first. Hopefully, the strike - if it happens - will be managed better than this press conferernce.

The optics of this were terrible. With all the attention on these negotiations for the last year, it looked like one camera guy, one reporter and a DC tourist or two. Either the press wasn't invited or didn't think it was important any longer because a settlement is in the offing. This OZ administration is the most secretive ever, they will not answer questions from members without careful screening. Why answer the press? This is all being carefully laid out to claim the biggest victory ever. All PR all the time.

What was this about? Don't call a press conference when you have nothing new to say. I guess the press figured that out. I wish I had.

Looks like SO just posted a new update on YouTube. They are spending so much time on social media. Everytime we complain, they respond. So SO, respond to this. What are we going to do about our Brothers and Sisters who are asking for 25 an hour?

We have many wins for full timers in our tentative agreements. Unfortunately part timers will have to settle with 20 dollars an hour. The plan is to make sure everyone is at 20 dollars an hour in the entire country. Then yearly raises on top of that
