Statement on UPS negotiations by IBT 6-28-23.th hour and withhold any additional benefits from the Teamsters, seeking concessionary language instead.

When the Teamsters walked away from the table, UPS agreed to resume negotiations on Wednesday. When corporate executives showed up, they only resubmitted the same proposal for worker concessions under Article 34. Founded in 1903, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters represents 1.2 million hardworking people in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. Visit Teamster.orgFacebook.com/teamsters.

Why are the Teamsters begging for a last, final and best offer?

Seems like an odd time to walk away. I'm wondering if this was a committee decision. Hopefully this is all part of the plan.

Seems odd for the union to demand a Final at this point with lots of time before expiration, because it is unprecedented. We have to assume based on the companies leaked first offer that the parties are far apart, this would usually be the time to work on getting as close as possible to a deal so that if we have to strike we're that much closer to achieving our goals. You have to be at the table to make that happen.

This move strengthens the case for those who believe 1) a deal has been cut already or 2) leadership believes we must have a strike and is proceeding accordingly.

TDU is a wholly owned subsiduary of the OZ PR machine. They are being punked like a jailhouse punk. It's time for someone else to fill the void. Apparently truth telling and transparency are not part of the plan anymore.

TDU is practically in charge now. TDU loves everything about this. This whole campaign seems like TDU.

Hard to imagine how you justify a strike with all the TA's, including Louisville and NorCal, that the IBT is bragging about.. It can't be a ULP strike and you know UPS will throw money at voters. Yet the media is falling for it, I'm saying no strike. It would be important to see the language but we'll probably get a summary like ABF.

The ABF does not look good. Word is at least the Western Supplement and two in the East Coast were rejected.

Some are saying the national was rejected others that it passed.

Soon enough we will find out!

I heard unofficially that two supplements got voted down and the National passed.
