I'm curious if most members know what concessions mean. O'Lyin keeps boasting no concessions, but I think what he is trying to make people believe is that the Teamsters got everything that they asked for when he says "no concessions". It is purposely not being put out to the membership what the union proposals were. Why? It needs to be made clear that "concessions" means not giving up something that has already been won in previous contracts or taking less than what has already been won or established (i.e. paycuts, fewer holidays, more hours before OT kicks in), NOT getting everything that was asked for by the Union. What were UPS's proposals? What "concessions" did they ask for? Perhaps they didn't ask for any at all, but how would the membership know because they aren't being given any information.
