Well that's just perfect from the OZ/TDU reformers. Just what the new Teamster image needs, another Nepo-Teamster leading our union in Southern California. His new full-time position, in addition to his other two full-time positions should bring him another cool $120,000 (he's currently at $235,863 on the $200,000 club) plus other bennies. Where does he find the time?

This union will never grow, we will never be the fighting force that workers respect and want to be part of as long as we continue with this out and out corruption in plain sight.

Not to worry TDU will put this up on their page, they are the watchdog? An earlier poster made the comment that Teamsterlink is now the venue for this. I could not agree more. TDU sold out for 30 pieces of silver. They are officially meaningless.

Brother Cammack had a long successful career and decided to retire from all positions.

Are you saying he also retired from Local 63?

You are absolutely right Faust, Cammack was forced out. Andy Marshall was also forced out by Sean, through his Local 396 puppet Mineros....

And Andy Marshall pushed out Marty Fraites as his assistant in 2018.

            It's called Teamsters Backstabbing 101.

Randy retires from 63 at the end of the year, I believe. According to him, he just wanted to stay long enough to see a ratification of the UPS contract

Really, then who is taking over the Local? Who else is stepping down? How is it all going to shuffle? Because according to Randy, he stepped down from the JC "to focus on the Local and has no intentions of ever retiring" So I would love to know what you know! LOL

I don't know whether he's leaving 63 or not but the idea that he left the JC on his own to focus on Local 63 is laughable.

Then who will take Sam's spot? Will Big Dog Retire once Randy leaves? Because he was leaving before Romero ran. How long will Gower stick around? So how will it all really shake out? Oh and once thays all done. How many slates from within will run against Sam? ? Randy stepping down from my Local is so exciting!!! To bad we really don't know yet ? ?

Teamster4Life: I'm just telling you what Randy has said. If you know some other facts, please share! Because, as of right now that is the narrative everyone believes.

Teamsterlink took over for TDU. Fair and balanced

Rumor is that Randy's retirement gifts included a new set of knives; he broke his last one stabbing Rome in the back.

That is what the Teamsters old guard does best!

Most of the heads of Teamsters locals are a bunch of self serving, pieces of ? who stay on till they have one foot in the grave for money and power. They are so far removed from the shop floor. Imagine if the were excited and hungry to organize and empower workers? Labor in the Country would take over

Mostly true, the good ones get painted with the same brush, follow the money.

Rome actually stabbed himself in the back.

Yes, he made mistakes along the way, but there are the Cammacks, Hicks and Paffs of the world who jumped on the IRB bandwagon in order to promote their own power and revenge. Teamsters who accepted diGenova and Carberry's decisions as "truth" threw solidarity out the window for their own personal gain. I stand behind Rome, not because he is (or was) perfect, but because he stood up for me when nobody else would, and he always stood up for the members of Local 853.

TPost, ask the Costco guys who were paid substandard wages and $1.75 in pension.

Rome stood for himself first, SWS second and Charles Burtucio third.

The members he sold out stood in last place!
