No, Sean O'Brien left him off the negotiating committee for not endorsing him in 2021.

Instead O'Brien invited the voted out eboard that helped him push Teamcare.

I think i saw somewhere else that this guy also pushed for Teamcare. He should have tried to get in the Western and 177 carveout

Correct he did support Teamcare in 2013. However once it was implemented he acknowledged that it was horrible and a concession.

Till this day O'Brien has refused to acknowledge Teamcare is garbage.

Nothing compares to the UPS healthcare plan members enjoyed prior to the 2013-2018 contract went into effect.

I have much respect for Richard Hooker and the courage he shows in refusing to sell out to Sean O'Brien. He's being targeted by the OZ administration. Richard should have a seat at the UPS negotiations table.

Yes, he pushed it . He was an hourly who supported Hoffa and the eBoard pushing the 2013 contract.. Him and his friends came in the Vote No page on Facebook and bashed us for wanting to vote no.

Not true. He never started to acknowledge it till he ran for office a couple years later. Then he lied and said he never supported TeamCare. He only admitted to it was when I confronted him on Union Power Radio. He erased his whole past on Facebook and never took responsibility for helping our local union get out the yes vote. The most pathetic part was he started his own Vote No Movement the next contract before negotiations started. People asked him what he was voting no on. He said, "We don't know yet"

DanaCos I appreciate the information. Teamcare is as you say, and those promoting it from Teamcare themselves lied to many Local leaders. Cases were arbitrated, and lost. I hope Brother Hooker can regain your trust, because right now from where I sit I don't see too many officers exhibiting the kind guts I'm seeing from Hooker. He's been targeted because he's acting like a Leader and not kissing the ring. We need more like him not less.

I agree Dana has issues with Richard and he probably has justifiable reasons, but regardless of your feelings it's totally inappropriate to target a local union leader because he does not agree with you or support you. The OZholes went even further and appointed the folks Richard has twice defeated. I salute Brother Hooker for standing tall against tough guy Seanie. It's obvious who the real man is. Hat's off Richard.

Richard Hooker's predecessor's at Local 623 were offered the opportunity to join the Western Region Local 177 Health Care plan. They rejected the offer and Local 177 accepted it. Guess who rejected that offer? Billy from Philly, who Sean invited to sit at the National Negotiating table to represent Local 623 in our current negotiations.

Sean rewarded Billy for his decision to stay in Teamcare, which Sean and Ken Hall heavily promoted.

And O'Brien still won't acknowledge that Teamcare and the entire 2013 contract which raised progression from 3 to 4 years was the shittiest contract in UPS Teamsters history.

The $3.90 in GWI was a fucking insulting joke!
