Starting pay for part-timers was not $12 in 1982. In 1982 they implemented a new part-time wage of $8 as UPS began to expand its part-time work force.

FT workers were making $11 to $12 max per hour. So a difference between PT and FT workers was only $4, sometimes even less.

Look I know you are upset part-timers are organizing independently for $25. The $20 OZ promised during their campaign is not gonna fly this time around.

Sean is in with the White House administration. With the economy slowing down, there's no way we strike. If you have your hopes on a strike prepare to be disappointed. Workers will never be paid what their worth is. The International will not sanction a strike if this contract is better than the last. Even if it's just a few cents.

Good video but it's funny how these, I guess journalists, step out there backdoor in New York City and think all Teamsters are like 804 Teamsters and all Locals are doing what 804 is doing. There not, do some home work.
