The members of the UPS National Negotiating Committee are bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement they were required to sign by O'Brien, in order to participate in negotiations. Sean promised full transparency in his campaign and now has reneged on that promise. This is the same O'Brien, who with Ken Hall, entered into a concessionary back-room agreement with UPS, that allowed UPS to stop providing its superior Company health care plans that so many of our UPS members enjoyed.

Well guess what, Sean has done it again with PVD's and it should be of no surprise to those who know O'Brien.

There are many on the National Negotiating committee who think it's a horrible idea to give UPS PVD's, but they know if they go against what Sean has agreed to, they will be subject to harassment, retaliation and humiliation at the hands of Sean's repressive regime.

But some members of the National Negotiating Committee are leaking out this information in the hope that the members will speak out and Sean will pull back on his PVD agreement.

Karla Schumann of Local 104 was one of the National Negotiating Committed members who said she had no issues with PVD's, when asked by Sean. She's not going to put her IBT stipend at risk by saying no to this concessionary proposal. And that is true about many others UPS committee members on a stipend. The stipend is more important to them, then the interests of their UPS members.

So did you make all this PVD news up, or was it true?

I know who those men are, but I don't know them personally. Whatever happened to them, or happens to them, is between them and the investigating officers.

I don't believe agreeing to PVD's is in the best interests of our membership. Since Sean apparently declared on Twitter the Union will not agree to PVD's, then that's a good thing. However I am not the only one who is aware that Sean pushed for a PVD agreement. Hopefully this thread got him to change his mind.

Sean is very upset about this thread, he even went off on the National Committee about it. We're glad at my workplace that this caused him to back off his PVD campaign. Oh, and thank you Sean for promoting Teamsterllink.

Let's see what he tries to horsetrade next at UPS negotiations in order to get rid of 22.4's. It appears that Sean may have raised expectations that can't be met, with his campaign promises, I guess time will tell, and time's getting very short Sean.

And Sean would be shocked if he really knew where the leaks are coming from, but local union leaders in an election year don't want PVD's to be an issue in their campaigns.

I talked to a reliable source on Thursday, 5.25.23, and they told me that PVD is definitely on the table and agreed upon.

While some on this site choose to misrepresent and lie for whatever purpose, and refuse to see how the government controls oz in exchange for weaponizing the
DiGenova IIO, everyone should keep their eye on the issues. The PVD issue is a problem as OT, with the members, for time and memorial is "don't force me, but don't deprive me of it!?" Which means it is a dilemma for the negotiators. Obviously, the Union should support hiring new workers into the Bargaining unit, but if locals can't supply the people, the company finds them where they can. Easy for the company to cheat during peak!

Any more updates on PVDs? I had another source say that the committee has agreed to limited PVDs.

That in itself will have automatic No votes.

The part-timers who organized for $25/75C/5% are gonna be a huge problem for O'Brien because they will also Vote No.
