Glad they are mobilizing on their own , they should be prepared either way , to endorse and support if their needs are addressed or to mobilize a vote no campaign if their needs are not.
Historically contracts HAVE been delayed and renegotiated when groups of workers unite and use their votes.

Yes they are. They are also going to their sort and asking their respective members to wear red on Friday to show solidarity for an equatable, livable and dignified contract. Parr-timers want respect and safe to say, WE ALL WANT RESPECT.

This is a great idea! Mobilize independently of the international! Work in conjunction with them but be an independent entity . Be prepared to challenge any tentative agreement that does not meet your parameters. Remember it is the members votes are that settles this contract.

Yes! for decades we have been talking about part-timer engagement. They are the largest block of workers yet always seem to get shorted. I hope they succeed.

Yes, they are prepared to advocate and push a "VOTE NO" if this contract does not address their top priority, part-time wages. As a union, we can no longer kick the can down the road any longer. No more, "well lets get something in this contract so we can build on it for the next contract." That type of thinking only benefits UPS, a multi-billion dollar corporation.
