I doubt this is accurate. Rumor was she was going to be in the Nor Cal negotiations but it got leaked to early and it got stopped. Rumors are going around about some things she has done in the local and possibly getting sued for not working people in the right order. Should be interesting to see what the IBT Executive board will do.

From all the capable UPS agents that have first hand knowledge of the in's and out's of UPS why are they sending someone from the movie industry who doesn't know what it is to drive a truck let alone move a package. They are painting this lady as the savior of the Teamsters union, as a militant super hero, she is neither! F-bombs and tattoo's don't make her tough. i wouldn't doubt it. She's real chummy with Sean, what i don't understand is she's a new principle officer, got a white ballot in the last election after finishing up her predecessor term and now she's traveling as a IBT VP like she's been in office for decades. Her local in Hollywood is struggling with the writers strike, her members are not working, struggling to make ends meet and she's out with the package division acting like she knows what it takes to close the deal with UPS.

She's bound to crash and burn! She's on the fast track to be a has been. I don't think she understands the dynamics of the Teamster world, her local was always on the outside in the Teamster realm. Leo Reed kept it like that and always kept his agents and politics very tightly wound up. Steve was basically the same way.
