Everybody makes too much money till they start drawing the same amount or more. Fred is a phony. Just like my principal officer, that made salary a staple in his campaign for office. Now? Pfff... makes more than ever.

Speaking of Richard Hooker... where is Hookrabsi? I want to know how he voted in 2013. He keeps complaining about the 2013 contract that "took from his family" and how Sean O'brien was the problem. How did you vote Hooker? Our dues money paid him to give out that TeamCare crap. Stop lying about it.

Good idea Faust (but do you have to be such a complete dick about it?). Also look for "$200K Club" on the home page navigation bar, where it will remain.

So the list doesn't even mention my local president. As of 2019 he gets $148, 400 for local president, $43,547 for being an IBT region co-chair, $24,000 joint council officer, $19,000 joint council investments director (deposits the money into an index fund). I don't know how much he collects in salary for being on the IBT/Teamster pension board and possibility a salary to "administer" our local"s health fund (they hire the actual administering out to another firm, but he transfers the money). SO at minimum $234,628 and likely over $300,0000 but only 148k would show on the $200,000 club site.

Add to that:
-They have 7 members on thier joint council that spends $15, 000 on catering, $13,000 on an annual party for thier own families (expensive door prizes).
-$10,000 put into his 401k at the local's expense
- All expense paid trips to Vegas for "convensions"
-A per deum of aprox $80 a day
-multiple pensions for serving the different roles in the union which he is collecting now while employed because he is 70+ (I imagine this totals well over 100k)
etc. etc.

These guys have so many income streams from our dues money it boggles the mind.

Always loyal to Hoffa he badmouthed TDU before Zimmerman became v.p. Now he fully supports him because it means he keeps all his cushy appointments

WOW, I had no idea how much top people make! I thought our union was about working people. I was most interested in "lavish spending we have witnessed in the past" so I googled it and found this https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/...207-story.html FLYING HIGH ON REFORM, TEAMSTERS TO SELL JETS (1991). What happened to this reform? As a Teamster, I make decent wages and benefits but unsure of the next contract. I can't imagine how someone making well over 1/2 a million dollars a year understands what my family is facing? Here's what I know, when I scan in tonight, I face production standards, disciplinary action, and told to sit down and shut up. I was hopping for more.

Our local (623) spent $10,000 on a hot dog hamburger bbq. When questioned about he said he was addressing it at the meeting. Never did he say how the money was spent. Just, what was consumed at the party. What were they celebrating? The remodeling of the union hall that he had no permission doing.

I have no problem with paying our best people good salaries. Some of these are hard to take when you look at the multiples. Zuckerman makes me wonder about my vote.
