Where is the UPS Strike Vote?

Amazing! I just texted someone asking this very question. The last contract, they had a vote in June. We always had a vote before starting contract negotiations.

You would be correct. Back in 99 (I believe) , they negotiated the contract almost a year prior. They had a slogan called " October 1 or we're done!" I even got a shirt that read that because I was an alternate steward.

Anyone know what the numbers were/are on the Contract Unity Pledge campaign? Because the target was 150,000 (half the UPS membership). My guess is, if it was anything like the contract survey questionnaire that they mailed out access codes to - which less than 3% of the members responded to - then they won't be holding any strike authorization vote until one is absolutely necessary.

Tons of Hoffa hold overs. The tentative agreement that they bring to the members is not going to make part time members happy. Many will not vote and it will pass. Part timers don't matter to UPS or the Teamster's heads
