Did you forget what they together did in 2013 at UPS? How about the railroaders? How about the no pension for Sysco members in Boston, Rochester, Indianapolis and Louisville after striking?

Everyone loves a strike!!!!
The first day. They also love the rhetoric and the bravado of speaking about a strike the weeks and months before the last day of the existing contract.
In actuality almost no one loves a strike on day 4 or 5 .
Strikes are a necessary tool but like most powerful tools they need to used properly.
To bandy about the idea of a strike without a true plan is irresponsible. Even worse is when there is already a deal in place but you want to use the intoxicating aura of a strike to whip your members into a frenzy only to announce a great victory just prior to settling a contract you had already settled months before.
