Teamsters on the Left & Trump

Most Teamsters aren't Leftists, but some active Leftist Teamsters are politically invested in Sean O'Brien. Some of those Leftist Teamsters will attack Teamsters who criticize O'Brien for sucking up to Trump. One possible explanation of this misplaced loyalty to O'Brien is exaggerated self-importance. Rather than being committed to making the Teamsters a democratic, powerful and decent Union, they imagine themselves in some revolutionary endeavor that trumps collaboration with bourgeois forces such as the Democratic Party. Yo, comrade, you're wrong. Your fantasies about leading the working class do not absolve you of responsibility to fight Trump and MAGA.

I think many of the "Leftist Teamsters" your refering to, if their active in the union at all, have found their way to TDU. They should be mad as hell at the silence from TDU about the Trump-O'Brien love fest and all it means for workers. How can any self respecting TDU member approve of where O'Brien has taken the union and as pointed out in the above youtube where Trump has taken the country.
