    Gonna laugh my ass off!

When asked about his thoughts (about a POTUS that O'Brien knows wants to destroy his union) SOB ducked and dodged and suggested to wait 101 days to assess. I am gonna laugh my ass off when he tries to dance around the question on the 102nd day. What an egotistic, self-interested piece of work. May 1,2025.

The good news is people, teamsters, are starting to pay attention as to who SOB is. People on this site have been calling him out for years, bully's like O'Brien never change. He's so like Trump it's no wonder he supports him, niether can take any form of criticism and both want to be dictators. My fear is that its too late and we'll be stuck with both of them to the virtual end of both the union and the country.

It may well be too late, there needs to be time to raise money and recruit delegates . It a little more then a year away.

Recruit? The majority of locals detest the pathological liar. All that is needed is a challenger.

Who ever challencges O'Brien will get on the ballot,.

Rumor was that Wright was history along with Perrone?

The only people that care are the officers. The rank and file could care less about all of that bullshit. Hell very few members show up for monthly meetings.

You don't think the rank and file care who negotiates their contracts?

SOB knows that he doesn't have long. That's why he's been trying to work on a career as a podcaster

What's surprising is that Perrone wasn't moved up to a Vice President (should have been VP at Large). NY Local 804, big historic Teamster Local, pushed support for the UPS agreement, leading player in NY Amazon organizing and Perrone as a Trustee doesn't even have a vote on the GEB. Talk about disrespected, holy shit. Whats up?

It's interesting when you look at the eastern VP list Taibi votes, Perrone doesn't. I agree when you look at the slate at-large candidates 804 should be more significant than any of those locals or their principle officers.

You talk to a few people that are rejects in their own locals. That is not a microcosmic of the current dynamic of the international brotherhood of teamsters. You do you that nobody respects anyone who cant look them in the eyes when they are having a conversation with you.

BBeatle most members couldn't care less. It's not like it was years ago. Very few of us are willing to stick together. We are getting weaker.

Members care about their contracts and what's in them, there's no doubt about that. The fact is regardless of who the Teamster President is Teamster Local unions negotiate thousands of contracts every year and most are ratified without incident. Right now unions are more popular than in decades and many unions are growing through this period even if right now our's isn't, sad to say.
