Seeing this multiple times on my Facebook feed. We're paying Zuckerberg to drive this home. I have questions.

Is this showing up just in Illinois or everywhere?

Was the vetoed bill identical to the bills enacted in other states? If not, how do versions of the bill differ?

Pritzker claims the bill's sponsors and advocates failed to reach out to his administration to collaborate. If so, why?

Pritzker clapped back about Joint Council 25 sidling up to former Governor Bruce Rauner. Rauner, a near-billionaire, was the most anti-Union Illinois governor in 140 years. Joint Council 25 also was tight with Rahm Emanuel (not a friend of Labor).

Let me tell you a story. When Obama ran for the Senate in 2004, Local 705 endorsed him before the primary. It was a breakthrough for Obama. I believe Richard DeVries worked on it. After the election, 705 Principal Officer Steve Pocztowski bragged that Obama asked him what Obama could do for the Teamsters. Pocztowski said that he told Obama: "Nothing. Just invite us to your swearing in." WTF.

I think Pritzker and Obama just aren't impressed by our Teamsters leaders.

Considering the unions non endorsement-endorsement of Trump and the resulting dismantling of the FMCS, NlLRB, OSHA and the terminations and cancellation of Federal union contracts etc. how could any reasonable person be anything but unimpressed with Teamster leaders?
