"Oppose this group of anti-worker oligarchs"

While SOB trots around the country for photo ops to support his reelection campaign, "his" President takes time between golf outings to tear up federal collective bargaining agreements, "his" Secretary of Labor abandons programs to protect children abroad from exploitation, the IBT abandons any support for Canadian and American members whose livelihoods will be threatened by a stupid trade war, and Trump again paralyzes the NLRB by attempting to remove a Board member, And lest we forget the promotion of self-driving vehicles manufactured by Tesla, available for sale soon on the White House lawn. The only thing we hear from the IBT is praise for the appointment of a UPS official to OSHA. Make no mistake. Project 2025 included a call to eliminate prohibitions on child labor in the US. Florida has already announced plans to review its limits with the intent of letting juveniles work in more dangerous operations, not only subjecting them to injury but also displacing adult workers. With what we've seen in the last 2 months, is it beyond belief that this morally bankrupt administration will soon claim that "overregulation" and "restrictive" child labor laws need to be weakened in this country to compete with other countries who will increase their exploitation of children after the elimination of DOL monitoring? When will the IBT join the rest of organized labor, indeed, the rest of people and organizations with a social conscience, and oppose this anti-worker group of oligarchs!

Project 2025 was the blue print for a Trump presidency that Trump claimed repeatedly he had nothing to do with, some on this site believed him. Now Project 2025 is the game plan for the Trump administration and there can be no doubt Trump and his billionaire friends intend to destroy organized labor. It's hard to see how the Teamsters can be part of the prevention of this tragedy when IBT/TDU refuses to udder a negative word about Trump and appear to be content to sit quietly by while he eliminates the collective bargaining rights for Federal employees with the stroke of a pen. IBT/TDU's policy of "Teamsters vs Everyone" leaves us with no friends or allies when they finally come for us and they will come.
