Well...purging? I dunno. I've seen leaders (some, few, but some) get elected to the GEB (leaders) that were well intended. However, within those few there were even fewer that didn't end up prostituting themselves to the General Presidents that were not "right" for the job. As SOB is not right for the job he holds his GEB and Local Officers, responsible with the fear of retaliation. I've watched it for decades. We need a GP that holds GEB members responsible (as well as rewards) for the "right" reasons.

Much more so than "skewed numbers, fired staff, lawsuit, discrimination, boot licker, TDU coalition", etc. I am not suggesting that anyone should not have their own thoughts with respect to those mentioned. I AM SAYING that if anyone communicates for the purpose of eroding support and exposing SOB that they stick closer to workers' issues that resonate. Taylored issues. Organizing 101: Don't tell voters what they should vote for. Listen to the voters and let them tell you what they want. That's beginner shit right there.

I really don't think anyone's suggesting that "skewed numbers, fired staff, lawsuit, discrimination, boot licker, TDU coalition, etc"are issues that will win elections. There's plenty of inside baseball and details that leaders, i.e. officers and activists, use to help them make decisions. Leaders are more likely to understand the significance of cut-backs at the NLRB, for example than R&F members. Things like "skewed numbers, fired staff, lawsuit, discrimination, boot licker, TDU coalition, etc", should be important to all leaders, particularly those that want an honest democratic union that doesn't accept gaslighting as fact.

I understand and agree with you and Nickjamesup. We are simply talking about two different audiences. If the only members that sign into this site are leaders or potential leaders then have at it. Now, I gotta say, I've seen plenty of leaders take part in campaigning that don't understand basic organizing. Some, in fact, where terrible at framing messages. Well intended folks. Just wrong in their efforts to effectively communicate. My comment wasn't meant to be personal. Keep the comment in mind or don't.
