Does anyone still believe the "everything is wonderful" statements coming out of the IBT's office of propaganda? While the Carhaul contract permits drivers to follow the work, it only applies if the driver and work go from one unionized company to another. If Ford and GM hire owner-ops or non-union companies to haul their vehicles, the Jack Cooper drivers have no contractual rights. The IBT will have to go out and organize the new carriers and then get them to sign the Carhaul contract. We all know the difficulties of doing either. And here's where the "Teamsters v. Everyone" arrogant idiocy comes into play. Don't expect the UAW or IAM to try to exert any pressure on the manufacturers to use IBT carriers in the interest of solidarity. And don't expect any help from Trump-Musk or the new Secretary of Labor, if she even gets confirmed by the right to work Republicans. Good luck to our Jack Cooper Brothers and Sisters. You deserve better from these corporations, but also the truth.

Our political program has no credibility and the media heavy so-called strike threat we keep using is looking like fake news to more and more labor reporters. SOB has been a disaster for the union, but no big deal the podcast is doing great.
