I have not read the decision, however, the longstanding reality of Teamsters being denied work opportunities if they actively oppose the activities of their elected and appointed representatives in our Union has been around a long time. It sucks. To deny a Brother or Sister a days' pay is a tactic of bosses, not Union leaders. The history of this fact I know personally all too well, directed at rank and file members that refuse to shut up. And our Union s not a Union until those "leaders" are thrown out of the way.

This is so common in the movies along with the personal enrichment of the stewards who own and lease equipment, hire their friends and relatives while Teamsters sit at home.

It's not so much stewards that own equipment it's the coordinators that own all the equipment and rent it out to the shows they are running and also hire their friends

It was also said in the article that 399 was only attached to the decision because they recently took charge of that industry in New Mexico. Did Dogherty even have anything to do with this? What was the reason for not showing up to the hearing?
