One would have to believe that the local has evidence to back their move. It would be stupid if they just said he did those things and fired him. The VP is well known through his time as a teamster for filling lawsuits.

There's always drama with this local. Too bad so much time is wasted while members face serious issues, like losing jobs to robots. Its never enough for some guys.

I was told there was more than what you are reporting. I was told that some members talked about their concerns about the local's administration and that the ST/PO came "unhinged" after their remarks. Is that true?

Unfortunately Cali News as usual has left off alot of the events that transpired at set meeting. In "New business" members from various barns represented by VP Danny Herbert presented the administration with petitions to reinstate Danny as business agent; the leadership brushed it off like yesterday's paper. Danny Herbert also set the record straight giving some key details to his termination & a back-&-forth with ST Eric Jimenez broke out. Concerned members brought up the fact that they believe Danny was treated unjust while Pres John Green remains in his current roles after receiving a DUI while driving a union provided truck that "we pay for". Eric's response was nothing short than a scene from a Martin Scorsese film pleading the 5th. Eric Jimenez must have not learned his lesson from Sister Kinders defamation lawsuit. The cherry on top was when Eric removed his Teamsters windbreaker jacket along with his "ST hat", walked up to the mic & viciously attacked a member in attendance over a Facebook page. Upon reviewing Eric's claims, he appeared to be referring to comments made by a retired member. It truly is a shame to see someone lose it the way Eric did & see him attack an innocent member. Frank "The Rat" Sevilla ironically also mentioned trying to keep the local out of IIO & federal cross hairs that could lead 952 to a trusteeship just like when he Ratted out Ed Mireles in 1999 at 952 along with Todd Mendez 15 yrs later in local 683

When Eric removed his "Teamsters windbreaker jacket along with his "ST hat", walked up to the mic" he spoke as Eric the member. I didn't know that all a principal officer has to do is take off a windbreaker and then they magically become a member again. I don't think that is how it works, you are always a PO. Regardless.

I can also report that members from various barns spoke up about their concerns with administration. One member brought up a steward election and their displeasure with their current contract, that did not sit well for the ST/PO.

This "I am not going to throw a twist on what really happened" sounds like it is coming straight from L952 administration. So it slated from their perspective.

There is nothing courageous about a ST ranting on an open mic eye level or not. He is not above any member but is held to a higher standard as a ST. The fact he openly attacked a member in attendance & went after another just shows how "unhinged" he has become. As far as Edgar Esquivel, I have no desire to defend him but isn't that the same Edgar that 952 leadership went after recently in the same fashion they went after Sister Vivian Vicuna? I believe he posted the letter issued by the administration along with his response on his Facebook page, not website. We are all still waiting to see the locals reply & I am sure Edgar will post it as usual. While I agree that personal attacks on Teamster members, family members & personal attributes are off limits; it does not justify a rant from someone in a leadership position. This administrations support is dwindling down & I will agree, 90% of their supporters were present. I must admit, I am begining to wonder if you attend the meeting or not. You speak as if you were present & then as if you heard it from a source. The way you speak of & defend this local has tipped your identity

I think Cali News said in the second sentence that he got his informatiion from members who were there.
If my local had meetings anything like the way this one is described our attendance would be alot better.

Baker, yes Cali News did state that but I'm reluctant to ask; why start a forum on events you heard second hand? Why go back-&-forth over events you weren't present to witness? His responses have been as if he was at the meeting & witnessed everything & not of someone who heard it from another member. Just like the children's game "telephone" the events could have changed & been told in a biased way to give a certain perspective.

"Living rent free in your head", to the contrary, when you get on here telling lies you need to be called out. If you want to carry water for administration, then just say so.

One concerned 952 member said concerning one of your recent posts, "it's funny how Cali News wants to discredit the website now & call it, fake news rumor mill."
