When Josh Hawley and JD Vance showed up at 25 Louisiana Avenue, NW - Teamster headquarters, followed by O'Brien's private dinner with Trump at Mara Largo, I figured he was getting something back from Trump. I wondered if it was Secretary of Labor if Trump wins. But I think more likely it will be a deal (if Trump wins) that insulates the Teamsters in contract battles, organizing battles, NLRB charges, etc. This at the cost of Trump's suppression of all other unions and poor and working class peoples' struggles. O'Brien has no right to utter the word solidarity. He is a traitor to the working class.

Many have said its Sec. of Labor under Trump, I think that's a good prediction. Hoffa also praised Trump for the Keystone XL pipeline in 2017, and that could be another angle SOB is taking. I don't think O'Brien cares about a Trump labor board. The Teamsters don't typically rely on ULP charges in contract campaigns, and they don't care about anything other than getting contracts passed. They - people like O'Brien, Zuckerman, etc - don't care about working peoples struggles at all, they are actually an obstacle to workers striking and getting good contracts.
