I remain a TDU member to fight for the goals and visions of those that helped build TDU during the times when doing so, put your job at risk, and sometimes your health and safety. Those TDU activists, friends, and comrades that were willing to stand up to the corrupt union misleaders and corrupt employers, rank and file Teamsters such as:

Arthur Doty, Local 829 and Local 504; Dave Wofinsohn, Local 853; Pete Camarata, Local 299;, Johnny Loughlin, Local 25; Teddy Katsaros, Local 282; Walter Kudla, Local 282;, Larry Kudla, Local 282; Bob Whouley, Local 25 and Local 504; Tim Costello, Local 25 and Local 504; Jerry Crowley, Local 82. Dennis Nagle, Local 25. They are all now deceased, but may they never be forgotten!

Ken Paff and David Levin have allowed TDU to be hijacked by Sean O'Brien. That's pathetic.

Well, Paff and Levin are the only two full-time TDU Organizers in TDU's history. I recognize that many TDU members have followed Paff's line of thinking: work with those that oppose union democracy for the purpose of "coalition building" and "seats at the table". I say, stand up and tell it like it is - speak truth to power.

TDU endorsed O'Brien for their own benefit, to get more access in IBT after he won the election in 2021. They sold out and crossed out their principles in their constitution after they endorsed O'Brien. Teamsters Against Trump is a way for them to save face, they can create a front organization that supports Democrats while still inviting O'Brien to their convention this fall, because he is still their candidate. It's all a game and it means nothing, like O'Brien saying he is independent from both parties, when unions today including IBT are totally dependent on Democrats in Congress.

Because Paff or Levin asked for PERMISSION; otherwise, heads would be rolling at the IBT. That SOB will fire ANYONE that even hints of disobedience.
