Marty Goes Berserk at NorCal All Charities Dinner

I feel it important to address the ongoing rude and inappropriate behavior of Teamsters Local 70 Principal Officer Marty Frates. In his latest escapade, Marty Frates made an absolute fool of himself, last night at the All Charities Benefit Dinner. Frates was clearly intoxicated when he stood up in from of the audience and cussed out the event Emcee in front of 400 Teamsters, Provider Professionals and their families. The event was heavily attended by women and children, but this didn't deter Marty's from his vile, drunken antics.

This man is an embarrassment to the membership of Teamsters Local 70. He's become a pathetic, selfish, ranting old man who needs to do the right thing and retire. Many donors to the Charity have indicated that they will no longer be sponsoring nor donating to the cause again, as long and Marty is around.

This so-called IBT Package Representative was a complete embarrassment to everyone in attendance. Several of Marty's Local 70 officers and agents had the audacity to stand up and support Marty's low class antics, rather than going home and meeting with Marty to demand his resignation.

C,mon Marty, stop disrespecting fellow Teamsters and stop making of fool of yourself and retire!

Frates has been an embarrassment to local 70 for years. He has caused a once great local the loss of all respect by all Teamsters. When Martinez got up last night and said frates behavior and that of the rest of the local 70 members was because of a lack of respect for local 70, I had to laugh. Who could respect a group of people that have allowed a known rat and liar continue as the Proncipal officer? He has again brought reproach to the local and the JC. It was embarrassing last night being there with employers, providers, etc. And showing the world the worst if us!
