    Ken Paff: "Teamsters Against Trump"

Teamsters Against Trump to have resources and grassroots organization in place in the event that the IBT made no presidential endorsement. Well, here we are.

On Wednesday, the IBT made its decision to issue no presidential endorsements. Teamsters Against Trump was mentioned in media reports in the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, the Guardian and elsewhere.

Yesterday, Teamsters Against Trump debuted this video which is approaching 700K views on Twitter in less than 24 hours.

This is a double cross of the highest order.
TDU is the International. The International is TDU.

    Did O'Brien know about this?
Why is he going to the TDU Convention?
Aren't Paff and Levin on the payroll?
What will happen to the TDU staff members on the payroll? Where are their loyalties?
And WHY would ANYONE want to follow Paff and Levin after this disaster of an administration?

The Teamsters have not seen this kind of press since the Consent Decree. It is an absolute nightmare.

Could this be the end of the coalition, if the endorsement is mainly the presidents decision, what'd Sean think about all this, must have known aboout it, no?

501c3 status maybe? The shameless convention plug for cash tells you all you need to know about scuba diving Ken chasing cash in the septic tank. What a bum.

Matt Taibi, S/T of Local 251 is also part of "Teamsters Against Trump", but he has said nothing about the GEB non-endorsement during 251 membership meetings.
The only opposition to Trump was by rank and file members that overwhelmingly voted for Biden endorsement in the "Town Hall Meeting" last Spring. Me and two other 251 retirees distributed a lengthy 3 page leaflet before that meeting. Does anyone know how Taibi voted at the GEB on the non-endorsement?

              Taibi from 251 was a no-show, didn't even vote.

I find it interesting that those who are critical of Sean O'Brien's decision not to endorse either Presidential candidate fail to discuss his reasoning not offer an endorsement. During his interview on CNN Mr. O'Brien stated he refused to give an endorsement after neither candidate would commit to honoring unionized workers right to strike. If what Mr. O'Brien said is true, then that should give every Teamster reason to be concerned about the two major parties lack of commitment to long established right to strike.

Bro? Failed to discuss? There is no good "reason"(ing). Been discussed at length. One party has behaved very badly. The other has behaved "goodly". You don't reward bad behavior with $45,000.00. Or, with an apparent endorsement by attending the RNC with kind words for a dictator that has shown contempt for your union. Or a showing of support to a party that has historically sought to destroy your union. Harris signed into law the Act that saved my pension along with thousands of others. If that bill had been placed in front of Trump he would have wiped his ass with it. Harris has voiced her support for pro union legislation. Orange man has not. Sean clearly had a motive that has not been explained that has gone awry. Now, he can't back out of it. (Although, he is trying.) Sean's lucky that the orange union hater is going to lose. Otherwise it might have been an even more costly political mistake for him. No "commitment"? Her actions have already shown a commitment. Stop biting for Sean's deflection. Indefensible and irresponsible. Yeeesh!

Ken Paff and TDU have been non-existent for the last 2 years and are a joke at this point.

Perhaps there should be demonstration outside the TDU convention by the Paff group Teamsters Against Trump ! Just who would Paff stand with?

Hey Paff ! We could all sing Which Side Are You On ! You can sing lead and Levin, Campbell, Hardy and Stefan can be the chorus!

Sean O'Brien brought us Trump. Ken Paff brought us Sean O'Brien. This group is just Paff's attempt to make some space between him and O'Brien, and save what might be left of his reputation. We knew the knife would come out eventually, suprising in that direction.
