What did you expect, as usual this is more about O'Briens ego, which has now isolated the Teamsters from the the rest of labor.

I think it was a terrible idea for SOB to address the RNC. The first half of his speech was filled with nauseating fawning over anti-union politicians who are not, and never will be, our supporters; Josh Hawley- 0% voting record in 2023 and 11% lifetime; JD Vance -0% in 2023 and 0% lifetime; Roger Marshall-0% in 2023 and 14% lifetime. Let's not forget he was not invited by Trump to address the Convention. He used $45,000 of your dues to buy and beg an invitation. His description of Washington being infested with PR flacks and influence peddlers intent on consolidating power and interested in self-promotion and self-preservation can just as easily apply to his administration as to Congress. But give him some credit for presenting the standard Labor wish list to people who either never heard it anywhere, or certainly never had it told to their faces. And the reaction of the delegates should answer any questions as to where the GOP stands on these issues and expose the patently false narrative being spun by the IBT communications department that the GOP is moving in the direction of workers. Once SOB got finished extolling the virtues of the "tough SOB" at the top of the ticket, standing like a true Stalinist next to his VP and Tucker (everything's better in Russia) Carlson, there were virtually no applause supporting support for anything on O'Brien's labor agenda. The IBT has already embarrassed itself with SOB's infatuation with Trump, pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago and desecration of the IBT's lobby. Those visions cannot be erased. While he should not have added to that disgrace by providing additional footage for future GOP commercials, at least he presented the laundry list of worker wants and needs, albeit to deaf ears.

You give SOB too much credit. He just assisted (in huge way, its all over the news) in electing a President that supports policies designed to kill unions. Oh and you found a silver lining?
