I hate to post a link to a site that has a bunch of useful idiots posting. Anytime you want to use a movement you were never in as a platform for yourself, you must know what you are talking about. I have time and time again told you that the supplement is usually the stronger language and through Article 2, you always abide by the stronger language (usually the supplement). That is why I always argued with managers that there is no such thing as "working under article 7". In our case, it is article 51 that is the stronger language and you should never allow management to cherry pick. If you didn't violate article 51, then it is only a warning letter you should get at the most. I had a guy hit a dolly and it ran a lady's foot over. She had to have her toes amputated. What did he get under me as a steward? A warning letter. At the 2 centers we have, they talk about level 1, level 2, level 3 accidents and whether they are terminal. They've been doing it for years and I just shake my head.

Anyway, listen to these knuckle heads try to interpret the 9/5 language not even realizing we have supplements that counter the master.

So, basically, you have to give the company 3 days notice that you want to be relieved from overtime. The company has to give you a yes or no answer. Approve or deny. They have to approve 10% of people in your center on any given day. In theory, the steward and center manager have to process those requests together. I don't know whether anybody does that or not.

This would be wrong in most supplements. That's why you don't listen to shitheads like Greg Kerwood or David Allen. What makes it worse is that shithead 1 even talks about the Central Region but negates the fact that their supplement is stronger than the bullshit he is spewing. Shithead 2 sits there and acts like he is speaking to the UPS god. These same fools are the ones that tried to destroy our Vote No Movement because they already had horrible healthcare (NOT the UPS Plan).

I did a quick look at New England and Our Supplement and there is no 9/5 language and so in that instance, the Master prevails. I am not a driver, so I don't practice that language with my constituency. What's really funny is both of these guys, Norm and Greg have the worse language than most of the country, but they love their leaders. So, the two guys sitting there simping with David Allen have the worst 9/5 language. Great contract guys! Tell us more how great your 9/5 language is. This is a tool we have to eliminate overtime and get more drivers on the street.

The funny thing is, the King (Sean O'Brien) doesn't have any as far as I can see. I skimmed through theirs and didn't see any. I read mine three times using the PDF search feature (nothing). If the New England Supplement doesn't have a clause, that makes it even more funny that Fluffy doesn't even acknowledge that his contract sucks compared to the rest of the country. Kerwood was unhappy with the low GWI and no teeth on language. This is before finding out of the coming layoffs.

Don't mention 2013 Faust. You might be told that nothing revolves around 2013. Had we did nothing then, O'Brien would not be in office now. 2013 is when a majority of us got sick and tired of the sellout contracts. It was well played by O'Brien to marry up with Zuckerman and play the Hoffa victim when in reality we are a victim of O'Brien when he was in charge of the supplements in 2013. If they want to dispute the facts, so be it. I have friends who have suffered immensely because of the change in healthcare plans.

I am still baffled that I was thrown out. But, then again, Timlin accused me of making up a name to be in the page after expulsion.
