If you go on the 399 Facebook page, her members clearly are suffering and they are done with her. She needs to turn shit around asap

She's from the far away land of OZ, from the mystical village of political opportunists.

In this article Lindsay appears to admit to giving concessions to the studios in 2021.

That 2021 contract had 3% per year increases in wages, while inflation at that time was raging at 9% per year.

During other times, a 3% pay increase would have been decent, but in 2021, it was a sell out contract. In this article and another posted by variety, she admits to concessions in the previous contract.

Expecting this contract to be better (it's her second time negotiating the contract). Hop8ng it contains a COST OF LIVING INCREASE (COLA) stipulation like the NMF and UPS contracts.

But, many workers just want a contract to get back to work. The studios have starved workers for two years and may have broken the memberships resolve.

Motion picture workers all over the country have been suffering since about Jan 2023 due to the writers strike and the studio forced slow down, intended at break union workers before they can strike.

It is an illegal slowdown, but the IBT has not filed the necessary paperwork at the NLRB.

As an example how slow it has been, the 2023 LM2s for Local 399, show only about 2,000 active members. That an 2/3rds of the 399 mbers were unemployed in 2023 and on December 31st.

In places like Cincinnati, it's worse. We have about 100 drivers on our referral list. On December 31st, we had maybe dozen working. Everyone else was unemployed. I've worked just 3 weeks since February 2023.

I'm sure lindsey is feeling the pressure not just from her members but from the studios. Her members are revolting against her in droves. She going to have a hard time getting another white ballot election.

People are saying that her members dislike her and are turning against her but where is the proof? It seems like the majority of people that comment about her are supporting her and the way she is handling things.

As if you didn't know Lindsay Dougherty is an International Vice President And Principle Officer of Hollywood Local 399, chief negotiator for Movie Teamsters. She's famous for often saying she's "been stepping on dicks" her whole life aka "dickstepper". Recently a major political blunder when she led a public chant of "Fuck Gavin Newsom", the Govenor of California. Where she comes from, she's a Nepo-Teamster. Others can fill in the details.

Nepo Teamster, climber with no chops other than a foul mouth indicitive of her limited vocabulary.
