Gosh, those seem like some unhappy members. Word is 300 members showed up in support of their former leadership at the O'Brien trusteeship hearing.

'Word is' the contract was ratified by over 2 to 1 margin (with a huge turnout) and it was the best contract they've ever seen. I guess you can't please everyone.

The GWI were 3%, 2% and 1%.

They scared them after 3 months of striking. The told them they were moving the plant.

There seems to be trend of IBT theatrics.

The IBT acts tough then crumbles.

The IBT officials, local union officers and don't lose anything, they're getting their fat paychecks through these poorly planned strikes. Then, if the company pushes back, the Teamster committee folds like a cheap lawn chair.

We've seen too often recently that the IBT promises a lot and delivers a lot less.

I agree with the posts above, if the new contract included substantial gains, they'd post specifics.

These guy's are an embarrassing joke. They bungle the strike, blame the local, trustee it, and claim victory. God help us all these guys are serial bunglers. Not the first time Fred or Sean has hung striking members out to dry.

The Molson strike was never about Molson it was about the much larger AB contract. Did anyone think they could win at Coors, been down that road before, when all their other plants are nonunion and can supply endless amounts of Beer?
