TURD does realize that UPS is "enforcing the contract," right? They are giving 45 days notice before they obliterate shits and lay off 50% or more of the workforce under the Network of the Future Initiative. Members should know their rights, but they should know the truth: grieving supervisors working, doing the right thing by 9.5, enforcing Article 26 (Surepost, which now seems undermined since UPS will be flying USPS packages exclusively and perhaps avoiding the traditional method of hub-to-USPS transfer), will not stop shift closures or mass layoffs. Tome is clear: the AI/automation revolution is here and she is going to automate "everything." Fortunately, O'Brien fixed the problem, in some part of his mind at least, so we are not to worry!
