Solidarity is a powerful weapon and I am curious if even SOB is committed to it.

I would be careful if I was Jim Kabel cuz SOB's lawyers, Nixon-Peabody, might send him a letter to cease and desist from using the word "Teamsters".

Josh Hawley is NOT pro-union. WOW. SOB met and shook Hawlry's hand.

The guy who wrote the article was another Hoffa goon. Here's the type of crap he does. Makes a union look good.

Teamsters Local 245 Business Manager Jim Kabell apologized for a 'lapse of judgment' in his actions at a Monett, MO, grocery store last week that resulted in legal charges

Clearly you have never met or worked with Jim Kabell. To call him a "Hoffa goon" is fucking ridiculous. That man is a die hard Teamster who has spent his career working tirelessly for his members and for warehouse Teamsters all over the country. Do you even know what was happening in April 2000 when Kabell was charged (gasp!) with that misdeameanor? You know, AWG had laid off 1,200 Teamsters after 3rd partying all their warehousing and trucking in Springfield, MO? Jim lead the campaign to get their jobs back, which he did, in addition to getting $3.7 million in back wages for the nine weeks they were out of work. If you spent even a second with him you'd know he's just an honest, hard working union man who puts his members first.

Nah. Nor do I want to. If you wore that red vest, you clearly don't know what it is to be a Teamster. There was a large contingent of the membership that fought corruption in the union and clearly he was part of it. Period. Not sure you know what Hoffa has done to this union.

Hawley is no friend of labor. I can't speak about the intentions of Jim Kabel, but the AFL-CIO rates Hawley's legislative history - votes on NLRB members to legislation - very poorly. 11%.

Sen. Hawley has been boasting about teamster support following his invitation and meeting with O'Brien at IBT HQ. Kabell is pushing back on O'Brien for sticking his nose in MO state politics, and without mentioning O'Brien by name.

Hawley and O'Brien have a new Bromance. It's weird. But, in the context of O'Brien not unexpected.

You should read up on HJ Res 98 that passed the US House and Senate last week. Hawley voted with labor, the only Senate R that did.

The other unions in Missouri, who we need from time to time are disgusted by the Teamster position. O'Brien doesn't understand solidarity, he operates one tranasction at a time.

Well now Peter Theil and Sean O'Brien have three things in common:
      • Affection and money for Trump
      • Affection and money for Hawley
      • Suing to close down a site they don't like (Google Gawker)

I wonder what all the flip-flop kooks from TDU, Labor Notes, DSA and FRSO have to say about this?

Will they remain silent like they have been on everything wrong O'Brien has done?
