Unfortunately, they are setting him up for being charged with bringing "reproach" to the Union. Reproach, is the political dark, black hole that the combination of oz/govt/tdu can, and have used to dispose of any political opposition in the past. One doesn't have to commit a crime, or violate any law, but only be a percieved threat or political opposition.

An elected GEB member should speak out, without restriction, so as to provide truth and clarity. It should be a sign to all elected officers and officials that the so-called leadership of the once great Teamsters Union is silencing any criticism or opposition. This will destroy the Teamsters.

As I have said before, all oz is concerned with is re-election and control. If you think a lot of damage has happened in the short time they have been in control, imagine the next few years and another term.

This is equivalent to telling elected officers to sit down and shut up! What kind of a leader thinks he should control everything including what others say. This is dangerous territory and GEB members need to speak up.

Palmer is a punk. He never won anything on his own. He has never negotiated anything. He was an organizer who never did anything to organize the organizing department. When he got into office the second time he should have helped the organizing department organize. Instead be took bis $142,000 and made mistake after mistake. The rest of the "leaders" are either bought and paid for, so surprised they are there, and incompetent, that they go along to get along. Except for a few, Hoffa's board was the same way, and SOB never opened his mouth. He went along for the ride. I am always amazed that when someone speaks up about a not so good contract, or supporting an anti-union, lying idiot for President, or for just not going along, that the other Board members jump up and defend the problems. Palmer, for the most part may be an idiot in some people's opinion, but when he is right, he is right. Mark my word, charges against him will follow...
