Golly gee isn't there a VP running that Local? In case you haven't noticed the West seems to purposefully consolidating. Meaning gerrymandering delegates. If your a VP your Local is getting bigger and local autonomy and democracy in the union fade away with barely a whimper.

Not a VP at Local 14 but you are right these VP's are taking over locals here in the west. 399 took over the movie side of Local 492 then 986 taking over 14 it's a money grab in the name of power, strength and unity.

It was all about power in NM when 399 took the movies from 492. The 492 BA was pushing 399 out of NM and the dickstepper wasn't having it. It also didn't help that 492 supported Vairma and Vairma carried that local over OZ. Needless to say O'Lyin was not happy about it and lots of threats were made to 492 following the election.
