It is indeed ironic, and I am not a fan of Shawn Fain. However, I think that long-term planning of a General Strike by organized labor is something to be applauded. Unfortunately, because of No Strike Clauses, Fain's call for a GS is already without any real power. Unless organized labor confronts its post-WW2 habit of No Strike Clauses, we will be stuck fighting over a smaller and smaller plate of crumbs.
