That may be a fact for WCTPTF, but I highly doubt it. Industry standards show that trustees do get compensation for their work overseeing the direction of the funds, union trustees are paid slightly higher than the average

No ibt trustee gets paid for sitting on a fund. Local or International. Active officers cannot, but hired trustees, some full-time, who are not officers or officials, do. Mack gets paid as a full-time Chairman or Secretary, for instance.
