An officer in this union can go on a trip a month, this one's in Puerto Rico, It seems like so much $ to send hundreds of people there flights, room and board. Just how necessary and usefull is this kind of trip anyway

All these junkets are wasteful, and do nothing to grow the membership. Most show up for the party and never attend a workshop. That money should work for the members.
