2 Tier Strike Benefits?

With no disrespect to our Sisters and Brothers at A-B, what in the world is the OZ junta thinking when it decided to DOUBLE strike benefits in the event A-B provokes a strike over a new contract. Is the cost of being on the picket line greater for brewery workers than for the rest of the Union? If you are currently on strike, or in the midst of negotiations, you should contact the IBT and find out if you are also eligible for double the current strike benefits and, if not, get an explanation why not. This gimmick brings to mind the sad image of Oz's new friend, Trump, tossing paper towels to the citizens of Puerto Rico who had no water, electricity or food. Whatever happened to all Teamsters being treated as equals?

This is going to get interesting, there are plenty of good reasons to vastly increase the srike benefit, but how does the union make sure its fair and doesn't favor one strike over another. These two examples CVG/DHL and Anheuser-Busch are very different situations but both worthy causes. It would be nice for locals preparing for a fight to know how this kind of decision is made by the GEB.
